Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” await their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the goal or to obtain them super confused.
