Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging created by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a partner or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything nevertheless the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to get them super confused.

A lyric prank is if you are texting someone the lyrics of a song and they do not it. Example:

John: It's been a lengthy day, without you my friend.
Jane: I know right. I haven't seen you all day!
