Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a man or a member of family, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” await their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the goal or to have them super confused.
