Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a partner or a member of family, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to make use of anything but the lyrics of that song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is some text messages sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the prospective or to get them super confused.
