Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by a man called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a relative, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to make use of anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, may be the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is some text messages sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the target or to have them super confused.

A lyric prank is when you're texting someone the lyrics of a song and they do not it. Example:
John: It's been a lengthy day, without you my friend.
Jane: I know right. I haven't seen you all day long!
John: And I'll tell you all about it when I help you again.
Jane: Why don't you tell me right now?
John: We've come a considerable ways from where we began
Jane: WAIT!! You remember when we met? In 2nd grade!!
John: Oh I'll tell you exactly about it when I help you again.
Jane: Why can't you only tell me now!!?
John: When I see you again.
Jane: Oh!! You intend to make it special!! When I help you again we will talk.
Jane needs to come out of beneath the rock she lives under…
