Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a man or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to obtain them super confused.

A lyric prank is when you're texting someone the lyrics of a tune and they don't it. Example:
John: This has been an extended day, without you my friend.
Jane: I know right. I haven't seen you all day!
John: And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again.
Jane: Why don't you tell me at this time?
John: We've come quite a distance from where we began
Jane: WAIT!! You remember once we met? In 2nd grade!!
John: Oh I'll inform you exactly about it when I help you again.
Jane: Why can't you simply tell me now!!?
John: When I help you again.
Jane: Oh!! You wish to make it special!! When I see you again we will talk.
Jane needs in the future out from beneath the rock she lives under…
