Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by a man called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a man or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the prospective or to have them super confused.
