Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some text messages sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is certainly caused by to troll the target or to obtain them super confused.

A lyric prank is when you're texting someone the lyrics of a song and they don't it. Example:
