Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a man or a member of family, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, is the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to have them super confused.
