Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a member of family, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything however the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” watch for their response.
