Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by a man called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to utilize anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” await their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
