Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to utilize anything however the lyrics of this song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mainly to troll the target or to have them super confused.
