Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a man called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a member of family, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some text messages sent using words from the certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the prospective or to have them super confused.
