Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is difficult created by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of that song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption

You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mainly to troll the goal or to get them super confused.
