Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a man or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to utilize anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
