Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the goal or to have them super confused.
