Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a relative, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to make use of anything however the lyrics of this song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?

Mom: you're still up for adoption

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from a certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the prospective or to have them super confused.
