Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is difficult produced by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a partner or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
