Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is challenging created by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at every one of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from the certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the mark or to obtain them super confused.
