Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a companion or a relative, depending about what the song is) song lyric.

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
