Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging created by a man called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a man or a member of family, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything however the lyrics of this song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?

Mom: you're still up for adoption

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the goal or to obtain them super confused.

A lyric prank is when you're texting someone the lyrics of a tune and they do not it. Example:
