Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge developed by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to utilize anything however the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the goal or to have them super confused.
