Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to utilize anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't go out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption

You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mainly to troll the mark or to get them super confused.

A lyric prank is when you are texting someone the lyrics of a song and they don't really it. Example:
