Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is challenging developed by a guy called Mike Fox. The essential ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a member of family, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption

You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - wait for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is some texting sent using words from a certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the prospective or to obtain them super confused.
