Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is difficult developed by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a man or a relative, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to utilize anything but the lyrics of that song. Say as an example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at every one of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, is the Lyric Prank.
A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is mainly to troll the goal or to obtain them super confused.

A lyric prank is when you are texting someone the lyrics of a song and they don't really it. Example:
John: It's been a long day, without you my friend.
Jane: I understand right. I haven't seen you all day!
John: And I'll tell you about it when I help you again.
Jane: Why don't you tell me at this time?
John: We've come a long way from where we began
