Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a man or a family member, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at most of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You know I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is once you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do is to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from the certain song to a particular person. The prank is mainly to troll the target or to get them super confused.
