Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The fundamental ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a partner or a member of family, depending about what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to use anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at each of my honesty
Mom: What ? Maybe you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, could be the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do is always to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the target or to have them super confused.
