Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a member of family, depending on which the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to utilize anything but the lyrics of that song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I can barely breathe” wait for their response. Then type the next verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will often be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
