Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes known as the lyric challenge, is a challenge created by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're prohibited to use anything but the lyrics of that song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something similar to this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all my honesty
Mom: What ? Have you lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I hope I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …
See ? And that, ladies and gentle men, is the Lyric Prank.





A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - just take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texts sent using words from the certain song to a certain person. The prank is mostly to troll the goal or to obtain them super confused.

A lyric prank is when you're texting someone the lyrics of a song and they don't it. Example:

John: This has been a lengthy day, without you my friend.
Jane: I am aware right. I haven't seen you all day!

Jane: Why don't you tell me today?
John: We've come a considerable ways from where we began
