Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes called the lyric challenge, is difficult created by some guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the challenge are that you text someone (usually a sweetheart or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're banned to use anything but the lyrics of this song. Say like you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

A lyric prank is whenever you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But everything you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” watch for their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - await a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - simply take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is a series of text messages sent using words from the certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the target or to obtain them super confused.
