Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging created by a man called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the task are that you text someone (usually a partner or a family member, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to utilize anything but the lyrics of this song. Say for instance you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something such as this (let's just use your clueless mom) :
You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You realize I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I really hope I don't run out of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption
You: -_-
You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But that which you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I could barely breathe” await their response. Then type another verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will most likely be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.
A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from a certain song to a specific person. The prank is certainly caused by to troll the prospective or to have them super confused.
