Basically, the lyric prank, or sometimes referred to as the lyric challenge, is challenging produced by a guy called Mike Fox. The basic ‘rules'of the process are that you text someone (usually a boyfriend or a relative, depending on what the song is) song lyric.
You're not allowed to make use of anything but the lyrics of the song. Say for example you used ‘Sorry'by good ol'Justin Bieber, your conversation would go something like this (let's just use your clueless mom) :

You: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty
Mom: What ? Perhaps you have lost the plot again ?
You: You understand I try but I don't do to well with apologies
Mom: that's certainly true. What's this even about michael (??)
You: I am hoping I don't come to an end of time, will someone call a referee ?
Mom: You're up for adoption

You: IT'S A PRANK
Mom: you're still up for adoption
You: …

A lyric prank is when you text your friend, family or significant others lyrics to a song. But what you do is you text them in single sentences and be cryptic, like: “I'm so into you, I will barely breathe” await their response. Then type the following verse, “And all I wanna do would be to fall in deep” - watch for a response.
Their response will usually be confusion. That example is Ariana Grande “Into You” - take the lyric and send your “victim” the text.







A lyric prank is a series of texting sent using words from the certain song to a specific person. The prank is mostly to troll the goal or to get them super confused.
